State Pharmacy Enforcement Branches are responsible for screening pharmaceutical products, cosmetics, veterinary products, industrial chemicals and precursors at main entry points throughout the country. In 2011, a total of 170,492 consignments involving cargo, post, mail and courier were screened. of which 0.97% of that total, valued at RM4,755,033 was detained.
