Background
An increase in the awareness and importance of medication safety has resulted in this unit being formed in 2007
Objectives
- To establish a medication error reporting system
- To create a medication error database
- To promote medication safety awareness by dessiminating information on ways to avoid medication error
- To provide training programmes to healthcare providers on medication safety
